Torifuji is best known for its exceptional Oyakodon (a bowl of rice with chicken, egg, and vegetables).  The chickens and eggs used in Tokujo Oyakodon (1500 yen which are limited to 10 meals daily for lunch) are delivered from Inagakishu Keijo, one of the most famous places for Nagoya Cochin brand in Japan. The delicious Koshi Hikari brand rice from Toyama prefecture also sets off its tender meat perfectly.  It is simply amazing how tender it is, how different it is, and how valuable it is.  If you are willing to experience the oyakodon in a totally different quality, you would not regret coming here all the way.
