Hirugao - Best Shiotama Ramen in Tokyo Station

Ultimate Dish : Shiotama Ramen 塩玉ラーメン (850 Yen)
Restaurant: Hirugao (ひるがお)
Ramen Street in Tokyo Station is one of the most competitive places in Tokyo where their ramen cannot be "just" good.  As how some experts explain, to survive in this keen competition, they must reach way beyond customers satisfaction as many customers expect to come to this ramen battleground for more than the average.
Hirugao has won the great reputation for its delicious Shio ramen (salt based ramen) on this Ramen Street for the past few years.  In fact, their most popular Shio Tama Ramen (850 Yen) always puts us in a situation to decide on whether we should do a second bowl. The soup has an exquisite combination of chicken bones, dried sardines, and perhaps the shellfish which blend perfectly with the springy al dente noodles and its tasty chashu pork. If you are a big fan of ramen (especially the salt based), it is impossible not to like Hirugao.
