Pictures of food

Here is another long standing restaurant called Chikuyoutei, which was founded 150 years ago in Edo period, in Ginza where it serves the the exceptional broiled eel in a very reasonable price.  The recommendation here is definitely the "Unaju" (3600 yen) that has the first class broiled eel well dipped in the sweet soy based tasty sauce on top of the relatively harder fresh white rice.  The skin of the eel is carefully grilled by the masters of Unagi to make it pleasantly crispy which gives you a nice savory smell of the eel that spurs your appetite even more.  The perfect harmony of the delicious tender eel and the rice is just breath taking that is, indeed, pleasure to remember.  Chikuyoutei's eel which has been loved by the locals for more than 150 years, definitely deserves to win reputation as the best Unaju restaurant around Ginza area.
