Negishi - Best Beef Tongue in Tokyo Station

Negishi
Negishi

The beef tongue, so called gyutan, is one of the popular food in Japan well known for its unique chewy texture with its fine taste of the rare part of the beef.  It actually makes the Japanese locals surprize when they hear about many foreigners do not eat beef tongues, but it is really not as surprizing and gross as it sounds.  Once you try the exceptional charcoal grilled beef tongue in Negishi, you will definitely become a big fan of it and may end up looking for a word "gyutan" in your county whenever you find the Japanese restaurants on the streets.  As we said, it is one of the rare parts of the beef, it may cost just a little bit pricey for a lunch set (Tantoro Set, 1,530 yen) we recommend, but what you get for return is the six pieces of the fine thick meat with tasty tail soup, a bowl of grain rice and a grated yam which are known to be very healthy and good for beauty.  The beef tongue in Negishi is indeed excellent.  Try it and you will not regret it!
